Kathmandu- August 12, 2013-PDRC Student Chadani Dulal and Sandhya Rasaili flew to the USA on 10th August after being selected as NESA-UGRAD fellows for 2013-14. NESA-UGRAD (The Near East & South Asia Undergraduate Exchange Program) is facilitated by Fullbright commission Nepal, where the fellows will be placed at different universities for a period of 1 year, to receive a nondegree course.
Chadani Dulal will be placed at Northwest College, Powell, Wyoming (Subject: Biology) and Sandhya Rasaili will be placed at State University of New York (Subject: Journalism)
PDRC provided a 2 week-long training for Chadani and Sandhya to prepare them for the Fellow selection process. We helped them in the process of documenting their stuff, writing their essays, English language tests and also conducted a mock interview session for them. Sandhya and Chadani are 10th and 11th students of PDRC respectively, to visit the USA as NESA-UGRAD fellows.
