“PDRC preparation got me into MBBS”

It is me Gyanendra Nepali from Dang Nepal. I am a boy from a poor family who has big dreams in eyes but no support. My journey was started in Kathmandu. I went there chasing my dreams but I was in a dilemma for what I should be doing. At the same time, PDRC helped me to show the right way. Then, I did my +2 Science in HSEB Scholarship with the help of PDRC.
After that, I started preparing for MBBS Entrance Examination While I was preparing for the entrance examination, PDRC helped by providing required guidance, tools and useful books from the PDRC library. For instance, the preparatory model question with weekly model tests. PDRC/ Dr. Tom Jacobsen scholarship package program assisted me to pursue MBBS degree, which was impossible for me and my family to afford.
At last, I would like to say that what I am today is because of PDRC and Dr. Tom who changed my dream into reality. Most importantly my further performances will determine to achieve the successful path for the people in need and do more for our country. I completed my MBBS degree from Manipal College of Medical Science, Pokhara University, Nepal in 2013. I started working as a Medical Officer at District Hospital, Salyan in the year 2014 – 2016, and in Magaragadi Primary Health Center, Bardiya district in 2017-2019. Currently, 2020 I am pursuing MD in Anesthesia in Nepal Government Scholarship.
