PDRC celebrates birthday with Blood Donation Camp

 Kathmandu 18 July, 2013: Triumphantly grappling with every adversity on the way, PDRC has entered into 9th year from July 17th. To commemorate this auspicious occasion, PDRC organized a blood donation camp today at Bhugol Park New Road on the same day.  “We wanted to do something new and philanthropic on this day, so we chose to arrange this blood donation clinic” confided Mr. Rup Sunar, AED of PDRC.  

Dozens of students affiliated with PDRC, board members and PDRC well wishers  from diverse background showed up to the clinic to congratulate PDRC for its achievement and to express their solidarity on its mission. Majority of them with proper health condition donated their blood, including people with disability. 

The camp arrangement process was assisted by few other organizations like Pashupati Marwadi Sewa Samiti, Jana Sahayogi Samaj,Rastriya Bishwakarma Sewa Samaj and Nepal RedCross Society. “PDRC is always concerned with helping people in need and we are all braced up to do that through different educational campaigns and humanitarian acts like this blood donation clinic” asserted PDRC’s President Kamala Hemchuri explaining the rationale behind this camp.
